We enjoyed the 5th World Conference of Science Journalists. We hope you did too. In fact we enjoyed it so much we’d like to keep the conversation going.
This weblog has been constructed as a place to continue talking about science and science reporting. You can discuss the sessions you attended, catch up on those you missed and relive the social events you dimly remember.
UPDATE: SESSION PODCASTS! After a slight delay, we are now uploading podcasts for all sessions. So far we’ve uploaded over 20 sessions (including the plenaries). Other sessions will go up through this week and the next. Either subscribe to the feed by clicking one of the buttons or go to the session and click the icon or download link.
CONFERENCE PROGRAM houses all the sessions, workshop, sponsored breakfasts, lunches and evening receptions. Most entries contain reports summarising the session content. All allow you to leave comments.
PHOTOS are displayed both here on the blog and on our Flickr account. Should you require higher resolution photos you will need to contact us. We would also like to see your photos. If you load them onto a Flickr account and tell us, then we can link to them.
The SPONSORS page, not surprisingly, lists all our wonderful conference sponsors and links to either their home page or content that they have provided.
PUBLIC FEEDBACK is a venue for general public comment about the conference. We are keen to get your feedback, and to share it with the organisers of the 6th World Conference in London in 2009.
CONTACT US is the best method for making a private comment or contacting us.
As they say in the online world, “this site is under construction”. More sessions and podcasts will be coming soon. We’ll keep you posted.

Director, 5th World Conference of Science Journalists
